WALK
Valletta is not a flat city.
Figure out the roads that are best to roll down and the more leveled ones to walk back.
You’ll save time and energy, unless you want to burn more calories!
CAR
There are many cars on the island, and parking in Valletta can be tricky.
Park in the white lines any time, blue lines during the day, green and yellow lines: never.
AIRPORT
Malta International Airport (the only one) is a 20-minute drive to Valletta.

FERRY TO SLIEMA
A ferry operates daily (unless it’s bad weather) and crosses over from Marsamxett Harbour in Valletta to Sliema.
Convenient if you want a quick crossover and want to avoid traffic.
FERRY TO GOZO
The ferry leaves from Mgarr, north of Malta.
Take the bus (around 1hr) or taxi, then catch the ferry (20min).
